I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (Didsbury, England) in Jul 2015
Interview
After passing the online assessment, I was invited for a group interview at the Didsbury call centre in Manchester. Group was split in two and we were given 2 minutes to prepare a talk about ourselves. We then did a group exercise and written individual exercise, followed by a one on one interview. I felt the interview was rushed and only lasted about 20 minutes, 10 minutes of which were my own questions. I got the feeling that as I was one of the only external candidates, they were just going through the motions. Needless to say I got a rejection email 2 days later.

Interview
A face to face interview with 2 upper managers. It was actually quite a pleasant experience! They clearly laid out the structure of what we would go through in the interview, some of which was points based. Plenty of back and forth with room for questions from myself. Standard general interview questions, followed by some store specific questions.

Interview
Good. The questions can be annoying that they focus on certain types of people I feel. Also, the process around recruitment is long winded which does not help retention much.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (Hamilton, Scotland) in Jan 2016
Interview
Group task and face to face interview. The group task consisted of creating a radio jingle then a further task of prioritising different headlines. A general compentancy based interview followed. Hiring process was ok, the only niggling point was the disclosure Scotland process.
