The interview process was extensive and spanned multiple rounds over several weeks.
It included director- and VP-level virtual interviews, an on-site whiteboard technical, and a final four-hour on-site with executive leadership and senior engineering staff. Following the final round, I received positive feedback through my recruiter and was extended a verbal offer pending final executive sign-off.
Shortly afterward, I was unexpectedly asked to return for an additional on-site technical interview focused on diagnosing issues within the production codebase. This format had not been previously communicated.
Ultimately, I was informed the company would not be moving forward.
While the individuals I met were professional, the process required significant time and preparation across multiple on-site visits. The addition of another technical round after a verbal offer created uncertainty and made the overall experience feel inconsistent. Candidates may benefit from requesting a clearly defined interview roadmap and confirmation of final decision criteria before investing in later-stage rounds.
