I have 0 experience of recruitment but still went through several rounds of in-person interviews and met around 8 interviewers in total, I was also asked to do a short take-home assessment. Made it to the last round of interview but could not get the offer eventually and the reason was my lack of experience in recruitment and the company doesn't want to spend time on training an employee with 0 experience. Then I don't quite understand why would the company still arrange so many rounds of interviews for me knowing I have no experience at all and they are not willing to hire people with no recruitment background. Such a waste of time and the company should know what kind of candidates they are looking for at the first place.
Some interview questions also got too personal which are totally unnecessary and have nothing to do with the role and my ability to work at all.
