When I initially applied, I was asked to do a skills test. I completed it, and a few weeks went by before I received another email asking me to complete the skills test (again). Before I thought anything of it, I received another email from the recruiter. We had a brief call about my skills, and she gave me an edit test and a lengthy personality test. Completed both and was sent a $50 gift card. I moved on to a 30 minute interview with two team members. Right off the bat, I felt uncomfortable after the first interviewer made a somewhat racist remark/microaggression. The second made it clear that he was getting ready for vacation and didn’t have time for the interview. Regardless, the two liked my edit test, and we discussed the role. Their section is relatively new, and they’re still trying to figure everything out. They also confirmed there are little to no growth opportunities. Overall, it was a strange experience, and it really seems like they want a certain type of person.
