I applied in-person. I interviewed at Kumon (Santa Cruz, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Casual and quick interview (about 10 minutes). Interviewer asked me questions on if I've worked with children before, organizational skills, and strengths/weaknesses. Other than that, the interviewer asked me what my availabilities were.

Question 1
Have you ever worked with children and how was it like?
The entire process was actually quite straightforward and easy for me, primarily because I was already volunteering at the organization, which gave me a level of familiarity with the staff and operations. Since they had already seen my work ethic and commitment firsthand, there wasn’t much of a formal interview process. They mainly asked me a few questions about my academic background, the credentials I held at the time, and any relevant experience I might have had that would contribute to the role. Overall, it felt more like a conversation than a formal evaluation.
