I had three interviews with this company. An initial phone screening, a group interview with two people (1: Recruiter, 2: Hiring Manager), third was another phone interview with a District Manager.
The interviews took about three hours total, each time the same questions were asked of me, most likely an interviewing template was being used.
The people that I meet were very nice and the organic products were great. My main concern with this company was that it lacked diversity. In such a diverse city as San Francisco I expected the same in the store.
The work environment was not professional; the area in which we interviewed was in the back of a 1200 sq foot store, which had dirty floors, a few makeshift tables and chairs. No permanent work stations and not ergonomic. On the up side, there was a large bay window in which you could view a luscious garden.
Although, I may not have accepted the job, I would have appreciated a courtesy call from someone, or at least a thank you for meeting with us letter or email.
