I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LanceSoft (Portland, OR) in Nov 2021
Interview
I am not a Fan of recruiters out of India. They call at all hours and often waste your time never having read you resume and calling you about jobs you aren’t qualified for.
Case in point… the woman who called this morning did so a 6:30AM. Let me repeat that…6:30AM. She called about a recruiter role and said she emailed me a job description. I told her several times I hadn’t received anything and when I tried to verify the email address she didn’t understand what I was saying. She wanted an update copy of my resume and finally after several minutes not getting the idea I had no email from her, she texted me her email address. She read over my resume and kept asking if I had health care recruiting experience. My resume clearly never showed I had this. Then she kept asking if I recruiter ‘nose.’ Eventually I realized she meant nurse and Again I told her no health care recruiting experience. She then told me I wasn’t qualified for the roll… and I point blank asked her why she was wasting my time and her’s calling me for a roll where had she read my resume she would know I don’t have the background for.
I have SO MANY stories like this from recruiters out of India. And I realized I also had told Lancesoft prior to put me on a Do Not Call list and have reported them to the FCC.
Awful company. Worst recruiters out there.
The interviewer was honest, kind, and clear in explaining all the processes involved. Their transparency created a positive experience, helping me feel confident and well-prepared for the next steps ahead

Interview
The interview process usually starts with an initial screening call to discuss your background and fit for the role. This is followed by a first-round interview with the hiring manager to explore your skills and experience. You might then complete an assessment or task related to the job. If you progress, you'll have a second-round interview with additional team members and possibly a final interview with top executives. If selected, you'll receive a job offer and discuss the terms of employment.
