Lanshore interview questions

I recently had an interview experience with Lanshore, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the process. I was initially contacted by a recruiter who provided me with detailed information about Lanshore and the role of Implementing & Supporting Solutions for business partners. During the screening call, I was honest about my limited hands-on experience with some of the technologies mentioned, such as SSRS, SSIS for Azure, and SSMS. The recruiter assured me that they would discuss this with the hiring manager. Within a week, I received an interview invite with the Lanshore's services manager. The first level interview went well, and I had a positive conversation with the manager about my experience and the tech stack I was familiar with. The manager reassured me that onboarding and training would be provided for technologies I wasn't familiar with, which eased any concerns I had. However, a week later, I received a call from the recruiter informing me that I was not selected for the position. When I requested feedback, I was informed that some of the expected technologies were not within my skillset. This left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially since I had previously communicated this limitation during the process. It's disheartening that while this was initially accepted, it was later cited as the sole reason for not moving forward, without any additional feedback provided. Overall, while I appreciated the opportunity to interview with Lanshore and the positive interactions I had with the manager, I believe there could be improvements in communication regarding the specific tech stack requirements for the role. This would help candidates better prepare and ensure a more transparent interview process.
