Later interview questions

This is my first time ever leaving a review, but this experience was honestly unbelievable. The process was a video call followed by a presentation round. The first interview was a bit disorganized. I didn’t receive the invite ahead of time and only got it about 10 minutes before, which was stressful since I didn’t even know when the meeting was supposed to be. Thankfully, the woman I spoke with was very kind and made the actual conversation itself a positive experience. The second round was much different. I presented a campaign exercise, but the panel seemed disengaged from the start and didn’t ask any questions afterward, which made the experience feel very one-sided and honestly uncomfortable. At times, it felt like my presentation didn’t have their full attention, and overall the interview came across passive and difficult to read. I understand interviews can be busy, but when candidates are putting significant time into assignments and presentations, a more engaged and interactive conversation goes a long way.

Initial phone interview with recruiter, Second Interview on video call. Seemed fine, got sent a take that references instructions for broken or out of date repositories to pull docker images, in order to execute against. Reached out to the point person about the issue and was told proceed anyway. Unprofessional at best, and a strange psychological test at worst. I wouldn't recommend.
