Prior to the 1st interview I was asked to complete a Project Manager Questionnaire, which consisted of the following questions:
1. Do you have a project management certification (Prince/PMP)?
2. Do you have an Agile certification?
3. Have you implemented agile in an organisation/team?
4. How do you get Agile non-believers on the bus?
5. How does a PM add value to an organisation?
6. How do you manage project sponsors?
7. How would you run an agile project end to end?
8. What will you do day to day during an iteration/sprint?
9. How do you forecast releases?
10. How do you handle sprint interruptions?
11. What is your management style?
The interview process was pretty normal, starting with a telephone interview. However, the interviewer did not call at the agreed time. I spoke with the recruiter who managed to find out the interviewer had a sick child and forgot about the interview.
The interview was rearranged for 4pm on the same day. I received a call from the interviewer at 4pm from a mobile. The interviewer was walking the children to the park and they played whilst the interviewer conducted the interview. This was not very professional as the children kept interrupting and asking for drinks, etc.
The feedback took over a week and the answer was a no, they were not taking my application any further.
