Completely unprofessional and unorganized interview process. It started out with the typical phone interview with a member of the HR team. All went well through the 1st phase of pre-screening. Unfortunately that's where HR was no where to be seen. I had to followup with the HR lady to see if there was any interest in bringing me in for an on-site interview, since I also had other companies also interested in bringing me in to interview. I was then scheduled for a face to face interview to meet with 2 individuals from the team and the hiring manager. I was also sent a lot of forms to print & fill out (paper application, background check, etc). Filling out these forums takes a lot of time, so maybe they should be saved for later in the interview process when you narrow down to one candidate? All of my face-to-face interviews went well as I was confident and provided concrete examples from my past. I also sent a thank you letter. I had more experience and education than their minimum for the position, but I made sure this wasn't a concern with HR before moving forward. Anyway, the HR lady that I worked with was out for PTO for a week, so there was no communication at all. A few days after her return, I e-mailed to follow-up (shouldn't this be HR's job?) about my on-site interview. I was told a big lie that "at this time, we are moving forward with 2nd round interviews with a few other candidates." If I wasn't a good fit for the position/company, why not tell me directly rather than lie? It's been 3 weeks since that time and the company is still constantly advertising the position on various job boards. I've never had such an unprofessional experience dealing with HR before from any organization. If anyone from management is reading this, train your HR folks better.
