      I applied online. I interviewed at Lenovo (Riyadh) in Jan 2026

      The discussion with the hiring manager was interesting and informative. However, the overall interview experience could be improved. During the interview, I received WhatsApp messages from HR with guidance while the discussion was ongoing, which felt unusual and somewhat distracting in a formal interview setting. The meeting also started later than scheduled (after a follow-up email), and most participants kept their cameras off, which made the interaction less engaging. After the interview, there was a long period (around six weeks) without updates while the same role appeared again on different job platforms. Clearer communication during this stage would improve the candidate experience. Additionally, there is currently no clear option to remove candidate data from the recruitment system, which may be something the company could improve from a privacy perspective. Overall, I appreciate the opportunity to speak with the team and hope the process continues to improve for future candidates.
