I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Bengaluru)
Interview
Got call from job portal and scheduled Skype round. After 2 days call was scheduled around 8 PM IST. Interview was smooth and questions were easy. In middle of the call interviewer told he is okay to select me and HR team will contact. Next day got call from LOWE's office to attend for a face to face interview. It was more of a discussion rather than interview. Later HR round where CTC was discussed. Same day got call from IT director who is more interested to know who is joining the company. Later after a week got offer letter.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Charlotte, NC) in Nov 2025
Interview
Got a call from a rec as they were hiring for their android flagship app.
First round was a 1 hr 30 minute hackerrank pair programming.
10-12 android hitters followed by a live app coding with the developer.
He was very helpful and helped me with clear and proper instructions. The whole pair coding went very smooth and I was able to proceed to the next round.
Then came the 45 minute follow up with another tech lead. This was very disappointing. Whatever he asked I was able to answer everything but he focused so much on jargons and terminologies only. I literally went WTF? during the interview. Like if he asked me a problem, I was able to explain him how to solve it but he din't care about that explanation or the workflow, he cared much more about what is that terminology called? or what s its definition. Like who cares?? If I am able to explain the whole workflow and process nobody cares about the terminology or definitions. Nobody is cramming what a terminology is called in android like for real. I was very disappointed at some point and wanted to just exit the call as the dude just went on looking for crammed definitions or memorized answers that match the textbook.
Gotta do better with your interviewers.
