I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Albuquerque, NM) in Dec 2013
Interview
This interview process was very relaxed and easy to get through. The first interview was conducted by the head of HR. She asked simple "Can you remember a time when..." questions. She then gave feedback that was more like having a conversation. That part was nice and made it more comfortable. The second interview was conducted by the front-end manager. She too, asked about the same sort of questions as the first. She was hurried because of other responsibilities she had. All in all - A good, positive experience.

Question 1
Nothing too difficult or unexpected in the interview. If I had to choose, "Name a time that you failed at something and how did you react to that situation?"
I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Yonkers, NY)
Interview
It starts with an online application, sometimes followed by a short 15–20 minute phone or video screen where a recruiter checks your availability, experience and communication skills. After that, you’ll have an in-person interview with the hiring manager covering customer service, teamwork and basic job capabilities, with questions like how you’d handle a price dispute or a short register drawer.
