I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at LoyaltyLion
Interview
I was headhunted by a recruiting agency and briefed on the Global Director of Demand Generation role.
I agreed to start interviewing with the company and to meet with the hiring manager, who really got me engaged with the role.
The next step involved meeting with their marketing contractor so they could assess my marketing knowledge. The interview went well and I was told on multiple occasions that I was providing the correct answers and giving the right level of details. I then received the offline feedback that my answers were "light on detail" and was rejected from the process, which took about a month (and a lot of chasing).
Looking back, I remembered that I was asked questions to which the contractor didn't have answers for. I was also informed by them that they had tried to reach out to me in the past to sell me their services but I had never got back to them. I don't think this would have been the reason why I got rejected but I found the approach a bit unsettling.
Having said that, Loyalty Lion seems to be a good company and the discussions I had with their permanent employees were positive.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LoyaltyLion (London, England)
Interview
The interview process itself was fairly smooth, and I progressed through to the final stage, where I delivered a presentation. What I found very disappointing was that, after completing three interview stages and investing significant time in preparing the presentation, I didn’t receive any direct feedback at all, despite chasing. I was simply informed via the external recruiter that I was unsuccessful.
I completely understand that another candidate may have been a better fit for the role, but receiving no feedback at that stage of the process felt discourteous. Failing to close the loop with candidates who have invested that level of effort doesn’t reflect particularly well on the company or the individuals involved.

Question 1
You have an underperforming SDR. They're invested and you can see they're working hard but the results are well below target for the second month in a row. In this situation, what would you do and why?
Had a phone screen with the recruiter followed by virtual call with senior people partner. Contacted via otta then had screen etc. Quite a fast process overall. Start up atmosphere, fairly informal and fast paced.
