Brief phone interview with a recruiter, then a video interview with the hiring manager and a video interview with extended members of the team. I never came in to the office for a face to face, which I thought was very odd. I was very underwhelmed about the interview process. The ENTIRE interview process was Lubizol representatives engaging in behavioral interview questions. Honestly, it was relentless, and given that it wasn't in-person, it was really really cold. They were not interested in me as a person, only in someone that they needed to ask a specific set of questions. While I REALLY liked the hiring manager, this process spoke volumes about the company. It was very US-centric, not YOU-centric. I wasn't sold on them, and I am glad I did not get an offer. When my company interviews people, we do a mix of behavioral and personal-interactive questions. We give the candidate a chance to know us as people, just as we want to know them as people. Lubrizol is not interested in this.
