I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Luxottica
Interview
The process was constituted by three steps: two phone interviews (an easy motivational one and a language assessment with an English professor) and the assessment day. The assessment day was composed by an initial personal presentation through an object, logical math tests, a "mail" test and then group assessment (it went approximately from 8.20 am to 1 pm). Surprisingly what i I found the hardest part was the mail test, where I had to answer to so many mails on a piece of paper in 50 minutes and rank them by priority, justifying my answer through a logical argument.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Luxottica (Mason, OH) in Mar 2014
Interview
Got the phone interview through employee referral. Took about 2-3 weeks. Then invited onsite in Mason Ohio, interviewed with 5 people for about 2-3 hours totally. Mostly behavioral questions, some scenario questions. After the on-site interview, waited another 3-4 weeks for the next steps.
