Had a great 15 minute filtering interview and was told the hr person was reaching out to who would be my direct report. I told my wife and was excited. A few days passed, with texts and emails sent - first to thank for a great interview and a day or so later to inquire as to what was happening with the meeting we were scheduling.
Today, I get this beauty of an email (below) thanking me for applying and saying they chose someone else... Zero class. I know this is par for the course for how employers operate these days, with silence, to show they are "not moving forward," but if we had a great first interview and then it's followed by silence, it indicates a poor level of communication within the team (red flag), or a simple lack of organizational character towards applicants and probably employees as well.
