I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Manulife in Mar 2018
Interview
I had one interview with the associate manager. Went to the office and the interview lasted about 45 minutes. Very friendly and positive. You could really care the associate manager cared about your personality, skills, and connection.
I found the interview process to be professional and well organized. I first completed a prescreening interview and then moved forward to a longer interview with the hiring team. The main interview included questions about my previous work experience, behavioural-style questions, and scenario-based questions related to disability case management. They also discussed the role, expectations, onboarding, and a potential start date. Overall, I felt the process was fair, supportive, and gave me a good understanding of the position.

Question 1
They asked me scenario-based questions related to disability case management and how I would handle challenging situations with clients.
15 minute phone interview for screening followed by a 45 minute interview via teams with hiring manager. Very kind people and friendly to speak with. Answered questions respectfully and with a good attitude.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Manulife (Kelowna, BC) in Dec 2023
Interview
Quick pre interview phone call with recruiter, then a 45 min zoom call with hiring manager. It felt pretty casual and relaxed. Asked about difficult situations I’ve encountered, how I handled them and wanted to know I could look back and learn what worked and what I could have done differently.
