Mark Young Construction interview questions

I submitted an online application and resume. Within a couple of days I was contacted to have a phone interview. The phone interview was maybe an hour long, and topics discussed involved my experience in the construction industry, what kind of work the company performed and what I wanted to do workwise going forward. After completing the phone interview I was invited to the office for an in-person interview the following week. This interview was with two Project Managers and I was asked questions about my work experience, goals, problem solving ability, work ethic, etc... I was allowed to ask any questions that I had. I believe I was offered a position either that day or the next day.

There was one 40 minute interview with a Construction Manager and a Superintendent. They had nothing prepared for the interview, and I had to ask questions of them to keep the interview moving. The superintendent didn't say hardly a word the entire interview. It was a pretty pathetic interview process, especially considering they offerred me a position the next day.
