Matrix Construction interview questions

Had a 60 mins call with a VP who was a very nice guy. Took about a day or two to get a second call back for a face to face interview. The request for me to drive 155 miles through LA County to have a face to face interview at the office. I proposed that we conduct this face to face virtually seeing as a 155 mile drive was a bit much with no discussion of compensation, benefits, or really even the job itself. I was told that because I was not willing to drive this great distance to meet them for an initial interview, they would be moving on with someone else.
