From the beginning, Matter made sure that as a potential candidate I was valued. I first met with the recruiter and chatted about my overall experience. From there, I had an in-depth conversation with the head of marketing about my writing experience and SEO training.  After, I was given a writing assignment where I could write about anything related to feedback and professional development. Then I spoke to the CEO and head of design who asked more introspective questions like my aspirations and long-term goals. I was then invited for an on-site interview where I met with most of the team. Overall, interviewing with Matter was an amazing experience. Everyone was transparent, responsive, and so welcoming. I appreciate how they took the time to listen to my values, aspirations, and see me beyond a potential candidate.
