I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mayer Brown (Charlotte, NC) in Jul 2020
Interview
A one hour in-person interview with the partner attorney that I would be working for and one of the associate attorneys on the same finance team. The interview was conducted in a large conference room with me at one end of the table and the attorneys on the far opposite end.
HR was very nice and gave comprehensive info about the company. The second round was with the partner and assosiate attorney who were also very friendly and did not ask cliche questions.9
Applied through online system, interviewed within 2 weeks. Not a difficult interview, like a chat with 2 partners. Standard questions asked and asked about recent news regarding the firm. Received the offer 2 days later.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mayer Brown (New York, NY)
Interview
Multiple rounds starting with HR, Paralegal Manager, Lead Paralegal, and Junior-Mid Associates/Partners you're likely to work with. Expressed work life balance and a variety of opportunities. Seems to be a supportive work environment with plenty of opportunities. Be sure to ask tailored questions to your interviewer at the end/throughout.
