Menschen Consulting interview questions

The Recruiter called me for a job role which they were hiring for one of their clients. The recruiter mentions on the call that my experience had gaps for which I gave a justified answer saying that I was studying and doing a job simultaneously for which she says that 'no one would hire me and would I like to start fresh'. Understandable and I agreed for a call the next day but no where did the HR mention that it was gonna be a g-meet or a face to face. You cannot expect a candidate to turn up at a short notice and then be rude to the candidate when they cannot make it.
