Interview
Only joined in the first round of interviews.
Started with introduction of the company and the recruiting position. Then we had a self introduction which is also kind of like a purpose statement, to all the interviewers and fellow candidates. Followed by a short Q&A based on it.
In the noon we had lunch together.
And then we had a group work about time management.
Ended up with an overall Q&A.
Nothing difficult or technical.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Merck in Nov 2013
Interview
First round was an on campus interview, which was two interviews 30 minutes each. They looked through my resume and asked about things that were of interest to them. I had a really diverse skill and employee history so that seemed to interest them.
The interview questions were already written out and one could simply use the STAR method.
The second round of interviews was a three hour phone interview with three different representatives. They were all behavioral questions.
