I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Metropolitan Transportation Authority (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
Interview process took 5 months from the submission of my application from June-October. Very nice office. Met with a panel, all were very nice but very thorough with their questions. Interview lasted 45 minutes. Had to submit 2-3 business writing samples. Last thing they ask you to do is to pitch yourself in/ sell yourself as to why you think you deserve this position and why would you be a good asset for MTA.

1 phone screening + 1 panel + 1 additional on-site interview. The whole process takes more than 3 months, so be patient with the long process. Don't have other advice about the process, because it's easy questions.

The senior director that interviewed me was brain dead. I don't think he even finished high school. I believe he faked it till he made it. Management is pretty subpar.

The whole process was smooth and friendly. It took 15 minutes, and the questions were easy. We just talked about normal stuff and went over the job responsibilities and, of course, my experience.
