It had three rounds .First round-written test with basic digital design and analog questions followed by two technical rounds consisting of vlsi and system design questions. Main focus was on ability to design systems to meet given specification.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Microchip Technology in Jan 2018

The over all interview experience was very good.
They are very kind and testing our skills to the core but i waited for a long time for my turn to get interviewed by them.
