I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Migrants’ Rights Network in Jan 2024
Interview
I was invited to a Zoom interview with ten days notice, and asked to prepare a short presentation in no more than 3 slides. The task was directly linked to the kind of work expected for the job.
One hour before the interview, the questions were send to me by email so I could better prepare for them, which I found very considerate. It helps make the interview process more accessible, and enables the panel to get the best responses possible from candidates as well.
I was given a call a few days later to tell me I had unfortunately not been selected, and was given direct feedback over the phone.

Question 1
Please can you describe what your interest is in the role, in particular, why does working on community engagement for migrant justice interest you?
How would any experience you've had of living in/being/working with communities that are far from power, or otherwise marginalised, influence your approach to this work?
