I made it to the second round of the interview process. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons and relocation, I did not get the job. However, the interview process was amazing. The first round was with HR, and they were super nice. They explained about the company and what they do, and then they explained the role and requirements for it. After that, they asked a few questions about what I understood about the role, why I wanted to apply for it and about the expected salary.
I was then sent an assessment that needed proofreading and quality checking and I passed the assessment
The second round was with the manager, who was very respectful and calm. This was a more intense questioning round about proofreading scenarios and quality assurance checks. I was also asked about maintaining a work-life balance, languages I know, real-life experiences where I have used proofreading as a skill, etc.
