Very average experience, on the cusp of mediocre. Didn't have the best impression of the hiring manager during our 1:1 but I was invited to the office for a panel interview with the CEO and Founder. The office is small and grim looking with cheap floor tiles and lighting. They literally scheduled me there for a whole hour - which ended up being around 45 min with the heavy breathing and impatient body language towards the last 10 minutes to rush me out. They all grilled me one by one and I could tell that they desperately were extracting for some free ideas/strategies. The CEO asked very odd questions—almost as if she was tapping into my insecurities and weak areas.
They barely have a marketing budget which goes a long way for salespeople. The office was empty too, which weirded me out a bit, but they claimed that "everyone was out". Okay.. With all that awkwardness, couldn't bother to acknowledge or reply back to my thank you and follow-up emails...and not even a mochi offering.
1 interview. Quick and easy. Basic questions such as tell me about yourself, why do you want to work for them, etc. If they like you, then they’ll provide the training. Flexible schedule and basic pay.
