ModeSens interview questions

I first spoke with an HR representative who connected me with the hiring manager. After that, the HR person asked for my availability to meet with other team members. I replied immediately, but didn’t hear back until the dates I provided had already passed. Later, the HR person reappeared, explaining that she had been on leave and there was no backup during her absence. I sent over my updated availability, but again, there was no timely response. This same process was repeated three times. The hiring manager and team members were generally pleasant to speak with. However, I learned that the company is run by a husband and wife — the CEO and the Fashion Director. The CEO handles the website’s creation and maintenance, while the Fashion Director oversees UX/UI. Perhaps this is typical for a family-run business, but it does explain why the website looks rather unpolished. During my conversations with the team, I sensed that they lack proper tools and resources, yet still expect employees to “think outside the box.” This observation aligns with many of the company’s reviews on Glassdoor. It also seems they’re preparing to launch a new product without a clear understanding of who their target users are. Overall, my interview experience confirmed that this is a very unique company. It’s now been over two weeks since my last interview, and I haven’t heard back from HR — which, based on my earlier experience, doesn’t come as a surprise.
