I applied online. I interviewed at Mole Valley Farmers (South Molton, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
The day started with an explanation of the business and the scheme followed by an icebreaker for all the candidates. There were then three role play scenarios. One you had to sell a product to someone who was sceptical, one was dealing with rejection when selling a product and another was a route planning exercise. Then it was lunch followed by individual 1-1 interviews and group tasks that involved selecting which people to save in what order from a flooding cave and organising a hypothetical quiz task in groups in five minutes with a limited budget.

I interviewed at Mole Valley Farmers (Market Rasen, England)
Interview
Straight forward, more of a chat. Very positive. We discussed why I would like to work here, my hobbies, what hours I would like, about my past experiences etc etc.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Mole Valley Farmers (South Molton, England) in Jul 2023
Interview
You can only submit a CV to apply for MVF jobs, so if you look alright they'll often arrange an informal Teams call to find out more about you and let you ask questions about the role. These are really helpful on both sides as you can learn more about the applied job without having to drive to a physical office, and it helps the hiring manager get a better understanding of what you're looking for. I wanted a role promoting the farming side of MVF (which this job wasn't), and was able to comfortably withdraw from the process after having an informal chat with the Retail Marketing Manager.
