Moody Insurance Agency interview questions

I interviewed one on one originally and was required to complete a personality assessment. That’s always the first red flag. Weeks later I get a request for a second interview and reluctantly accept. The second interview was two on one, which was fine. They asked many questions you’d think would be obviously out of my realm of knowledge based on my experience, which is fine- I was honest about my lack of that knowledge. The kicker is, I never heard back. Over the next month and a half I began and finished the interview process with another insurance agency. Was offered and accepted a (personal lines) job paying over 20% more than what I was told the salary range was for the job at Moody. Then I get an email from Moody (politely) letting me know I wasn’t a good fit. After that much time- I’d assumed as much. The fact that they actually sent an email to the effect tells me they intended to keep me on the line while interviewing and offering the position to other candidates who were better fits. They knew they didn’t want me after the second interview (maybe even after the first). With the salary transparency and abundance of open positions in the market today- companies really need to do better than this.
