The company used a recruiter. The recruiters were professional and set clear expectations and timelines. The brokerage industry is a small group, as such I requested off-site locations to conduct my interviews. All parties were very accommodating to my concerns.

I went through a recruiter to access this interview. My first interview was with the president of the company, and it went wonderfully. The second interview was with a group of three male producers, and that did not go so well, as they asked me whether I was a mother or planned on becoming a mother soon, because they did not want to deal with a woman that needs a flexible schedule for her children. I was shocked and appalled, and when I complained to the president I was eliminated from the interview process.
