I was recommend to join the company by a former colleague and was soon reached out by a local head of support person. We had a first interview speaking in general about what technologies I currently work with and what they expect me to do on the job. He did mention a few times how bad it would be if something was failed - we will then have all the financial press attention to the incident. I came out with a neutral outlook from there.
Second interview was in 2-3 weeks with an HR representative. She was nice to talk to, told me about sporting teams they have, etc and just acted like a nice HR. Positive. At this moment it looked like they already accepted me as their employee.
The third interview in the next 3 weeks. I came in and sat down with the guy from the first interview and some woman who didn't even bother to introduce herself. By her behavior it seemed that the was some big head. The started harsh with saying that "you may not submit CV's in English while living in Russia". Okay, didn't expect that. Then she started asking me questions about anything on Earth, starting from my child age and up to current days. She definitely didn't read the CV. After some talk she started telling me that, if I accept the job offer, I will be used here for my 100% , sitting until sunset if I need to solve an issue. I will have to accept orders that my not be discussed and etc. Said that their company is very conservative and new technologies are adopted very slow. Some processes are so dumb that I will have to buy my own stationary myself.
It seemed that she has done everything for me not to accept the job at my own will.
We decided to think about it from both sides " until Monday". They never called me back.
