    Interview

Great interview process. Very efficient! The TA representatives communicated with me during the entire process and kept things moving. After the phone interview, the in person interview was set up right away.

    Human Resource Manager/Business Partner Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Multiply (New York, NY) in May 2016.

    Interview

The interview process was not a very pleasant one. The person interviewing was not even an employee of Answers. The whole interview took approximately 45 minutes. I had asked many questions; most of them she was not able to answer. She was not familiar with the company; how many people were in the company, how many people this position would be supporting. I was told my resume would be sent to the hiring manager and I would be scheduled for an interview the following week. She also told me that she was going to send me an email that will contain a link for me to take an online test. Three days later I received an email stating I was not chosen for the position. If you're going to have someone who is conducting these interviews; I would suggest they know a little more about the company and the position they are interviewing for.

    Interview Questions

    QA Engineer Interview

    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Multiply (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2016.

    Interview

The process was straight forward. I applied on their website then scheduled a phone interview with the recruiter, we then set up a 1:1 with the Director of QA. He asked about PHP Linux and Git. I also was asked to look at a website and highlight errors. The next interview was a 1:2 with current QA engineers. In that interview I was mostly asked to explain various testing practices.

    Human Resources Manager Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Multiply in May 2016.

    Interview

Had three phone interviews, one with the HR Consultant, one with the Head of Talent Aquisition, and one with the peers to the role. Also took an online assessment. The peer interview was disjointed. Not sure if it was due to both HR people being in different locations or if they were unprepared for the interview. They didn't have many questions. Never heard back after that on my status.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Multiply (Saint Louis, MO) in April 2016.

    Interview

It was mostly an ok interview, they ask some off the wall questions but I don't think they really care about the answers. One of my interviewers was very distracted throughout the interview which was off putting.

Applied to Answers through online portal. Was contacted by HR about two weeks later for a phone screen and then scheduled an interview with the engineering lead. Revenue Operations Analyst Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Multiply (Saint Louis, MO) in January 2016.

    Interview

The interview process was unorganized. We scheduled a phone interview for a certain time and the lady called 20 minutes late. I scheduled the phone interview during a time I knew I could be free and felt rushed because she called so late. The interviewer also seemed very uninterested from the start. I submitted a resume for a reason, look over it before you schedule the initial interview.

    Human Resources Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Multiply (New York, NY) in October 2015.

    Interview

Started off well, but quickly spiraled downward. Was openly mocked about past positions, including mocking of past applicants ( one was "too pretty" to be hired)

Went into great length about the "Happy hour benefits and free drinking", but blustered through explaining 2 massive layoffs and freezing of 401k matches to avoid a 3rd layoff.

    Interview Questions

    • 1. What was my GPA from my college degrees?
      2. Was I on the Dean's list for graduate school ( no such thing, clearly showed my interviewers had no graduate degrees themselves)
      3. When was the last time I cried at work? ( probably asked this because I am a woman)
      4. Am I getting an MBA soon? (why, just why? I wasn't applying for a high level position, entry level and no MBA was required)
