NPR Software Developer interview questions

I met with a recruiter, they asked if I had heard of NPR and what I liked about what they do. Then they talked a bit about the team that was hiring. They then asked me to talk about my work. It was a bit of an odd format, typically there is more of a direct question then "talk about your work". I got the vibe she didn't really look at my resume, so it started off kind of tense, but ended well. I was told i was going to the next round but almost a week later was told I was rejected. Waiting that long to hear back about a second round was a worse experience than the unexpected rejection.
