Buzzword bingo. The listings online seemed very interesting, but it was a superficial experience on the phone. I've had numerous phone interviews over my career, and I can tell who are really interested and how are just looking for the right key phrases. The person on the phone here just asked if I would consider myself an expert in xyz, what percentage of my time I spent on abc, and sounded scripted rather than asking me real questions that even an non techie HR person should ask. Plus, they wanted me (candidates) to travel to Chicago on our own dime for a face to face. When I told them if they want real professionals, they need to look at my resume, what I offer and if there is a match, get the right people on the phone with me to see if the want to bring me in. As it is, I felt like it was a bad audition phone call for American Idol.
