Telephone interview. Interviewer was part of talent acquisition team. Asked the usual “do you fit” behavioral questions. This position was only for the Business Library location. Interviewer did not seem to understand or perhaps know much about Special Libraries. Interviewer assumed that corporation libraries (that only function as a business library for a company’s employees) must have public patrons. Interviewer wanted to know if I had experience teaching workshops. The interview focused on the instruction responsibilities of the position.

I was contacted for a one-hour interview by a panel of four managers about seven weeks after I submitted my application. The four panel members were kind, attentive, and supportive.
