The process took around 2+ months. I applied online and was then asked to record myself responding to a couple of interview style questions. I was then invited to an assessment centre. The assessment consisted of a group based activity, we were also asked to prepare a presentation on a topical news item, which we were informed of around a month before the assessment day. The day finished with a competency based interview. The group based activity was not too challenging and the presentation was a nice way to demonstrate a knowledge of the industry and the company. However, I found the interview itself slightly unprofessional. I was interviewed by three members of staff, of which, only one seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. None of the interviewers seemed interested in finding out more about you as a person, and what had motivated you to apply for the role.
