I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nissan (Sunderland, North East England, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
I was contacted by an external recruiter I’d used previously and about a week later I was given an interview date for the week after that.
A single stage process with the interview lasting about 1 and a half hours in total. I met with a HR representative, the senior controller and the plant finance manager. I had to do a 5 minute presentation on a subject of my choosing at the start, followed by a round of competency based questions which weren’t too difficult.
Interviews were held over 2 days and I was told I’d hear by the end of the following week but actually heard the day following the interviews.
You have to attend a medical before they issue a contract which I guess is normal but other places I’ve been do it once you’re in.
