Everyone was nice during the interview, but the offer phone call was so abrupt and almost meant to be intimidating and make you answer on the spot. Did not accept.
- What skills do you think you bring?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Nova Biomedical
The interview process is for 5 rounds. First it starts with a phone interview, followed by another couple of phone call interviews, followed by face to face with 2 people followed by final round with panel for 3 hours.
- About biomedical experience and validating equipment

I applied online. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical
Two phone interviews and two in-person interviews in my home state, then another all-day interview at the headquarter located in Massachusetts, paid by the company but it was a really long and frustrating time.
- Everything about life experiences to work

I applied online. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical
Applied online, recieved a call from a recruiter asking if Id like to interview in person. Interview was a sit down with the hiring manager and a director. No tour, the whole interview lasted about an hour
- Which of our products impresses you most? Whats the difference between precision and accuracy? In R&D, is precision or accuracy more important?

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical
Process took about six weeks. First with phone screen, second phone interview with hiring manager. Onsite interview with multiple people from several disciplines. I received an invitation to return for a second interview about two weeks later.
- Fairly standard questions regarding QMS.

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical in Aug 2019
I was more than qualified until they saw me in person and realized I was older. A younger person would have been offered the entry level position. They discriminate against anyone over 40
- Why do you want to work here ? I don’t think we have anything for you
- Why did you leave your last job? It paid more money, why do you want this ? What else have you ever done?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical
The interview process was drawn out with multiple parties involved . It was 3 separate interviews in 1. The VP of HR was extremely unprofessional. She did take into consideration candidates time and allowed me to wait more than 20 minutes after I was interviewed by another employee. In addition the VP asked personal questions and made assumptions that my personal life would cause me to have attendance issues. She asked questions about family, personal hobbies, and dug deep into my professional background to employments that were not relevant to the role I applied for. She also asked my current salary and per MA law the cannot be asked. Given the seniority role of the interviewer she should stay more abreast on questions that can be legally asked during an interview process and not make assumptions.
- Since you have a family and do it all, do you have any attendance issues? What is your current salary?

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical
Received a call from the HR department requesting to a little chat before an actual interview was scheduled - just exchanged some information between the 2 of us and while on the phone the HR gal scheduled the interview with the supervisor over the CS team. The interview went well, everyone was nice, and received another call that discussed background check and drug test - all I was fine with. Nova worked with the delays that came up and it turned out well.
- Mentioned contract questions a lot

Scheduling was difficult. They informed me that there was a rush to hire for this position but then pushed out interview dates. They require a test same day as interview and they stated I'd meet the manager first and then bring me back to meet the executives at a later time.
- You had to take a silly test before interviewing that's a waste of time. The interviewers talked more about why the last person didnt last more than making the position exciting.

I applied online. I interviewed at Nova Biomedical (Waltham, MA)
Started off with a small written quiz. I was given a piece of paper to read over and was asked to answer the corresponding questions. Afterwards, I interviewed/spoke to four different people. The supervisor for the position I was applying for, the manager that the supervisor reported to, someone from HR, and another supervisor from a different department. I was there for about two hour in total.
- Asked about my experience and how it related to the job I was applying for. Asked where I saw myself in five years.
