OG Consulting interview questions

**NOT RECOMMENDED** I sent in my CV and got an email back about a month later saying they want to move forward. The HR sent up a video call, I got ready and got on only to understand we're doing a video call with no camera (then why not a phone call?). Following that I got a take home test to review a survey. It was timed for 2 hours making sure you pay attention to details, know how to evaluate a survey and the like. Not complex but not too boring. I thought that was it. From there I had two back-to-back interviews with some managers there over zoom or w/e they use. It was nice to have both together which saved time. Mainly asked generic interview questions you can find online - weaknesses, strengths, what are you concerned, etc. They said there will be another phase from there (if I pass) evaluating my presentation skill, little did I know... One or two days later I got an email with all the details for the assignment. No note on me passing or some good news, just here's a test and you have 4 days to do it. I opened up the questions and I kid you not I estimated at 20-25 hours worth of work. SERIOUSLY. The questions were amorphic, the data wasn't too clean (a lot of pivotting and the like), they want 8-20 slides (?!) and the data had a lot of columns. Plus there was bonus quesitons. Really? who does bonus questions? And even when I wanted to do it the data wasn't correct with some values that should be 1 to 1 were 1 to many!! (For example the individaul had a geo code for where he lives, but that code matched like 4 different geo locations in the geo file). So I did the assignment because I knew I'm pretty good at this and it's good practice. Needles to say that over that weekend I did another test for a different company that took two hours. I felt that those two hours were a much better evaluation of my skills and respect for my time. Back to the company. I submitted my work which took more than I estimated (27 hours) the following Monday (I got it Thursday). I was burned out. Honestly if I would have got that as a freelance I would charge a good amount for it. But then nothing. Didn't hear from them for a good while, followed up with them like 1-2 times but nothing. During the wait I got accepted to a different place and boi wasn't I going to wait for them. A while later (like a month?!) I got a cold email saying they continue with someone else. A Fuc*king cold email after all I put into that presentation. And honestly I'm a harsh criticizer of my work but that was good. So I sent a polite reply asking if I can get any feedback on my work considering the time I put into it. Nothing. Crickets. I didn't hear back. So If I sum up this horrible experience I will say: Unless you're desperate or you don't have any other interviews at hand, stay away. P.S Overall the interviewers were nice people. I just think no one there ever did the test and they have to (!) get their interviewing process in order. I will definitely not recommend applying there.
