The interview at OICR went very well and felt clear and straightforward throughout. The questions were direct, with no trick or overly technical questions, which helped create a comfortable and conversational atmosphere. Much of the discussion focused on my academic background, research experiences, and specific scientific interests, allowing me to explain what motivates me and how my interests align with the work being done at OICR. Overall, the interview felt more like a genuine conversation about fit and enthusiasm for the role rather than a high-pressure evaluation, which made it a positive experience.
