I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at OKSI (Torrance, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
First, I had a lengthy phone interview where I discussed all of the projects I had worked on. Then, I was called for an in-person interview. In this interview I had to give a high level overview of any project I had worked on. I presented to the owner, a software engineer, and an aerospace engineer. There wasn't much structure to this interview and seemed very informal. The owner fell asleep a lot during the process. I got an offer for a different position despite me meeting and exceeding the minimum requirements for the position. Be prepared for a 55k offer with the title of associate scientist.
