I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Oak Street Health (Carrollton, TX) in Jul 2024
Interview
I was interviewed both virtually and in person for the BHS role. My interviews went great. I was given enough time to learn about my role and how the company is expanding in the region. The recruiter for the role ask me for my salary requirements prior to setting up the initial interview. I provided my range and the recruiter did not question my requirements. Once my offer was given, I was shocked to hear that it was significantly below what I make now working at home. The company did not reveal their salary band or come back with a counter. This experience with salary negotiations was awful. My advice: Mental Health Counselors have multiple advanced degrees and specializations. We deserve to be paid what we are worth.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oak Street Health (Roseville, MI) in Mar 2023
Interview
I was first approached by HR to answer screening questions. From there several additional interviews were arranged. Each interview was more progressive than the previous. My process was smooth and transparent.
