I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ogilvy (New York, NY) in Mar 2012
Interview
Intense, they brought us up to NYC for a weekend and for 3 days straight challenged us with group projects, 1-on-1 interviews, and presentation building. competing with 40 individuals all vying for the same job ... very challenging.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"If plastic water bottles were banned in the United States for drinking purposes, what would you use them for in their new state?"
It was very intensive and one of the hardest interviews that I have done. Asked a lot of the same questions in each interview. Each candidate is asked the same questions that are mostly behavioral and situational.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ogilvy (New York, NY) in Feb 2023
Interview
Only made it to the first round - and it was just a basic screening with HR individual. The interview was conducted over Zoom and lasted 10-15 minutes. I heard back 3 weeks-a month that I did not get selected to move forward.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ogilvy (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
Consists of 2 essay prompts followed by 2 rounds of behavioral interviews and a Super Saturday (full day of activities/group interviews).
First round interview was with HR, second with an employee in your local office. Both rounds consisted of 7-10 questions in a 30-minute interview.
The questions weren't anything new (great achievements, trouble with authority, collaboration, adapt to change, etc) but there is a lot of them. They also ask similar questions repeatedly in the same interview so have multiple stories ready!

Question 1
- When has changing a small detail had a huge impact?
- When have you disagreed with a policy put in place by authority?
- Tell a story of a time you did work outside your job role?
