An HR rep reached out to me for a Tech Writer position. I was immediately weary after they sent me first a Senior position, but then asked me to apply officially for a regular position. To be fair, they did say that they'd note my preferences in terms of salary and position title/responsibilities, but it threw me off nonetheless.
From there, I completed a 2.5 hour writing assessment that was definitely challenging for the amount of time but was also doable for me. I received an invitation to interview the following day.
The reason I am writing this review is because, as I read the less than 5 star reviews and grew concerns over the CEO, the company scheduled me for two interviews on the same day (the next day after the technical assessment) AND asked to get started on a background check. While I am sure that they felt they had a great candidate, it felt scarily rushed to me and made me very nervous about the whole process. I got an offer at another company before I could have any of the actual interviews, but I was a bit concerned with how heavily they chased me down and tried to push forward the entire hiring process before I could decide how I felt about them.
