I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PAPER
Interview
The process was relatively smooth and I generally knew what the timeline would be and when I'd hear more about the next stage.
There was a mixture of video chats (expected) and regular phone calls (a bit surprising)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions about challenging manager related situations I'd been in before and how I'd dealt with them.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PAPER in Feb 2022
Interview
After an initial phone call with the recruiter, I was told that there will be three rounds of interviews.
The 30mins call scheduled with the fellow managers was weird to say the least. The interviewers seemed so disinterested (with one interviewer even turning away from the camera and listening sideways) for more than half of the call which started few mins late and thankfully, ended few mins early (that is the best part).
For a company that is building an "Uber for tutors", they probably need to look at their hiring practices thoroughly, the sooner the better.
