I applied online. I interviewed at PCE Automation (Beccles, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
I was invited to attend interview twice within a couple of months. The first time was face-face at the Beccles branch. The interview was conducted by the GM and an admin person was in attendance to take notes. I felt it was a positive interview. At the conclusion I was told I would hear news within a couple of weeks. However I didn't receive any news, despite chasing with emails and calls. No-one had the courtesy to inform me of the outcome. A couple of months later another person from the same branch contacted me to attend interview. I informed her I had already attended interview and that notes were taken, so I suggested she could make an assessment from these. She preferred to interview me again, so this time it was conducted on Teams. Again, I felt it was a positive interview. At the end I mentioned that no-one had come back to me from the first interview, and I respectfully asked for confirmation that someone would at least let me know the outcome this time round. She assured me I would hear within a couple of weeks. But again, I didn't hear anything, despite chasing. Overall I felt there was a general lack of professionalism and basic courtesy to inform candidates of the outcome of interviews, it's the least that anyone would expect.
